In this unit, we are investigating how we know that a chemical change has occurred. From last topic, we remember during a chemical change, the atoms are rearranging. They are rearranging because the bonds between the atoms are breaking and then reforming. Since we can't see atoms because they are so small, how do we know that they are rearranging, though? During a chemical reaction, we often observe a color or temperature change or we will observe a gas or a solid form. These things are called evidences of a chemical change. Throughout this unit, we will perform many experiments that illustrate these evidences.
